Family Support

Hello Parents!

My name is Aundrea and I am Dilworth’s new School Counselor! I am so excited to be here and so grateful to be able to work with your students!

A little bit about me, I am a Salt Lake City transplant from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I received my Bachelors of Social Work with a minor in Political Science from The University of Tennessee. During my undergraduate career, my research focused on geriatric mental health. Then I received my Masters of Clinical Social Work from Florida State University. My research during my graduate career looked at child and adolescent development, effective co-parenting for divorced families, forming and maintaining healthy familial relationships, and animal therapy. During my spare time I love being outside in our beautiful Utah mountains and spending time with my two fur babies, a 5-year-old Lab named Maggie and a 12-year-old thoroughbred horse named Liebe!

I am here to offer support to you and your students in any way that I can. I am at the school Monday-Thursday 10:00 am-3:00 pm. I can provide emotional support through one-on-one counseling with a student OR group counseling consisting of multiple students focusing on a certain subject matter. I am also here to help connect families to community resources or listen to any concerns a parent or teacher may have about their student. I can’t wait to meet you and your students and am ready for a great school yea
