Principal's Message

 

 

Dear Dilworth Families,

It is with my signature enthusiasm I write this email to introduce myself to the Dilworth community. After six years at Glendale Middle School, I have landed at Dilworth Elementary. For those who I have met, thank you for the warm welcome. The Dilworth hospitality has exceeded my expectations. The faculty, staff, parents, and community members rave about the school and all its offerings, and I am excited to continue the work you all have started, to maintain this exceptional reputation.

I have spent most of my career in education. I have 23 years of experience in both public and private schools as a teacher, instructional coach, district leader, and principal. Six of the years have been spent as an elementary principal and six years as a middle school administrator. Having worked in both elementary and middle schools, I have a thorough understanding of how prerequisite skills acquired in each grade build upon one another.

It should be noted that I have loved each position I have held and every school I have worked at, albeit each placement was vastly different. I know I will adjust nicely to Dilworth, thanks to all your kind notes and gestures.

Most importantly, I am honored to be a Dilworth Dragon and I am excited to help all your children learn, grow, and become their best selves.
