What's Happening in the Library?

 

Library classes begin August 19th!

Students are also welcome to come to the library 15 minutes after school for a quick drop off and check out when finished with their library book

Below is this year's list of award-winning, Battle Books: If you have a student who is entering 4th- 6th grades this coming year, please consider reading these books with your student! These are award winning books in various genres. Students in 4th, 5th, & 6th, are invited, monthly, to read & discuss books culminating in a school & then District competition. You can locate these books on SORA or at the public library, too!

The mission of the Library Learning Center is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas. A strong Library Learning Center program, administered by a certified Library Technology Teacher, positively impacts student achievement. The Library Technology Teacher is a certified teacher, instructional partner, information specialist and program coordinator & curator of the collection.
